Welcome To Camp Kwando Namibia

Nestled on the banks of the Kwando river (Zambezi Region – Caprivi, Namibia), Camp Kwando invites you to come and explore the hidden treasures of an untamed land. Capture the spirit of the African bush while sipping sundowners from the beautiful overhead deck and experience the thrill of the hauntingly beautiful call of the African fish eagle.

The island accommodates thirteen thatched tents.

Thirteen Thatch Roof Tents are awaiting you on the bank of the river. Each one with two beds. Every bed is equipped with a mosquito net. Built on poles with a deck overlooking the river.The thatched roofs guarantee a good thermal regulation, that is, not too hot in summer and not too cold in the winter. Every tent has an en suite bathroom with a shower, a toilet and a basin with hot and cold water.

Tree Houses

4 Larger Thatched Roof Chalets on stilts are placed in the middle of wonderful trees on higher ground allowing you an amazing view over Botswana’s flood plains. Each of these “Tree Houses” on stilts has 2 beds with mosquito nets, an en-suite bathroom, and a private Deck. Electricity in our Treehouses is provided by 100% solar power.
